Anushka Bogdanov is the Founder and Executive Chairperson of Risk Insights, Africa’s first female-founded data science company using Al to drive ESG innovation. A pioneer in risk analytics and sustainable finance, she developed the award- winning ESG GPS model, adopted by major stock exchanges including the Botswana Stock Exchange. With over 30 years of experience in banking and development finance, Anushka has held senior roles at Absa Capital, DBSA, Nedbank, and Fitch Ratings. A Harvard-certified director and INSEAD lecturer, she actively promotes ESG education, leads Africa-focused ESG programs, and hosts the podcast ESG Matters with Risk Insights. She is a board member of the World Economic Forum’s New Champions and a leading voice in ESG, Al ethics, and sustainable development.
